What is FTP?
FTP (File Transfer Protocol), is the protocol used on the Internet for sending files. There are several free software applications that will allow you to FTP files for your website. We will describe how to use some of these below:
Accessing Your Site with WS_FTP
Under the General Tab, enter the Address, Username, and Password assigned to you in your welcome letter. You may enter whatever you like in the Profile Name Field.
Under the Advanced Tab, enter 21 in the Remote Port field.
Click on the OK button and you will login to your FTP site at Netpoint Hosting.

Accessing Your Site with Leap FTP
Enter the Address, Username, and Password assigned to you in your welcome letter. Port Number 21.
Click on the Connect button or hit the Enter key and you will login to your FTP site at Netpoint Hosting.

Accessing Your Site with Cute FTP
Within the Site Manager click on Add Site.
Under the General Tab, enter the Address, Username, and Password assigned to you in your welcome letter. You may enter whatever you like in the Site Label Field. The other fields may remain blank.
Under the Advanced Tab, enter in the Port field the Port Number 21.
Click on the OK button and your setup is complete.
