Most of our clients like the hassle-free billing method and choose to pay by the year. However, if you prefer to being billed on a monthly basis, we can accommodate you. Our monthly bills are usually sent out by the 5th or 7th of the month via mail. |

| No. The setup of your website with Netpoint Hosting is free of charge. However, if you are registering your domain name with Network Solutions, they will charge you a fee of approximately $70 for the domain name, which is good for two years. |

| A site if pulled for billing if, for whatever reason, a payment is missed. When a payment is missed, we will send an alert via mail and e-mail to the address which you specify when you open an account. If this e-mail is not responded to within 15 days, your web site is temporarily shut down. Don't worry, we do not remove your files. You have another 15 days to get proper payment to us before your account is closed. If for some reason you pay after ten days, and your files have been removed from the server, there will be a $45 fee to restore your site from a backup tape (which is not guaranteed). Always remember to keep a copy of your site on your own computer to avoid this fee. |

| We have a comprehensive system that alerts us whenever a server goes down. The monitoring devices ping(checks) all of our servers every 10 minutes. If any of the servers misses a ping, it will sound off an alarm, which alerts our technicians to take action. |

| Netpoint Hosting uses the latest in server technology comprised of the Microsoft Server 2000 and 2003 architecture. These servers support most of the popular web design tools, such as Active Server Pages, ASP.Net, PHP, Multiple Database Applications, and Front Page Server Extentions. |

| Transfer rates are the amount of data sent to from our servers to computers requesting that data. When someone visits your website and clicks on a link or submits a form, they are requesting the transfer of data. Our experience has shown that 2000 MB of transfer is generous enough to accommodate most business and personal websites. In addition to generous transfer rates, Netpoint Hosting offers an over rate security plan. In any month that you exceed your data transfer rate enough to increase your costs to an equal or greater cost than the next higher package, you will be automatically upgraded into the next package. This is a free option you must select when you establish your account. You may also add this option by requesting it by phone or email to our sales department. |

| For every new order, there is a domain name. This domain name has to be registered at Network Solutions(or comparable company) in order for it to project to the world. We will register your website through them for you, but it involves a little participation from you as well. We take the information you give us when you sign up an account and use it as the contact information on your website. You will receive an e-mail from them if it is an existing domain name asking you if you want the site transferred. You should respond to this e-mail as soon as you get it. This will help speed up the process. Also, Network Solutions will bill you $70 for the first two years with that domain. |

We use the Imail Web Messaging Services application for E-mail server processing. Simply put, when an e-mail account is set up, it is placed on one of our new mail servers. It is given a username and a password. There are two ways you can access your e-mail:
- You can configure your e-mail client, such as Outlook, to retrieve your e-mail for you. For more on Outlook, click here
- You can get it on the web by going to http://mail.yourdomain.com:8383
You can also add users, aliases, and lists from the web by logging into your e-mail account.
An autoresponder is a reply e-mail that is automatically sent out to anyone who sends an e-mail to you. These can be turned on or off at any time, and are free of charge.
E-Mail forwarding simply lets you forward all the e-mail that comes into a mailbox to another address. You can even have it forward to several addresses. |

| Most of our customers use Microsoft's Front Page Server Extensions, via Microsoft Visual Studio, or Microsoft Front Page. Front Page Server Extensions are the server side settings that we configure here that allow you to use Front Page components, such as counters and forms. We recommend using them instead of FTP, mainly due to the higher level of security that Front Page Server Extensions offer compared to FTP. |

| Backing up the user information on each of our servers gives you the assurance that if there is a problem with either the server or you site, there are copies of it that can be restored. It is also useful if your site is Pulled for Billing for an extended period of time, it can easily be restored. |
